I'm running linux mint 22 and although kodi will install there is no section in the addon folder for pvr clients I've tried a few things to install simple iptv pvr through software centre and through the command line but it never shows up. Vlc does work with the youtube add on, that's why there is a 'support external player' option in it's settings I have been using vlc with it recently, as it started working when set as kodi's default player.
I have the same problem as jonboy1976, but i am already on 7.1.0.1 (for leia though, installed manually), which is the current stable provided by github Shall i try the beta too If you want a log from a python3 version of kodi, i can do it on sunday morning (or saturday afternoon at best) My other kodi installation, which uses python3, is still on 7.0.x that the main repo has.
